Dynata Announces Formation of Global Research and Data Sciences Center of Excellence
New organization enhances client offerings by consolidating expertise and innovation of Research Delivery, Panel Sciences and Data Sciences teams
DALLAS — Aug. 22, 2022 – Dynata, the world’s largest first-party data platform for insights, activation and measurement, today announced the formation of its Global Research and Data Sciences Center of Excellence (COE), which consolidates into one organization the expertise and innovative methodologies of the Research Delivery, Panel Sciences and Data Sciences teams. The new organization streamlines Dynata’s ability to deliver improved research with speed and accuracy, to generate compelling thought-leadership opportunities to drive growth, and to solidify its position as the leader in data science, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The team is led by Steven Millman, an advertising research industry veteran and member of the board of trustees of the Advertising Research Foundation. Millman previously led research and operations for Dynata’s Advertising Solutions business.
The primary goals of Dynata’s Global Research and Data Sciences COE include:
- Improve research delivery: Centralizing research expertise allows Dynata to take better advantage of economies of scale, standardize delivery and create automations to deliver work faster and more accurately for clients.
- Generate industry-leading research thought leadership: Identifying thought-leadership opportunities — including cutting-edge research techniques and innovative strategies that maximize the potential to benefit clients — will drive Dynata’s awareness, adoption and growth. This includes providing Panel Science support to execute best practices for engaging and retaining members.
- Enhance core assets: Continuing to apply automation and effectiveness using AI, ML and other technologies better enables Dynata to solve complex challenges for clients — including expanding panel profile fill rates, improving panelist survey routing, creating models for integrating first- and third-party data and improving those matches. These efforts solidify Dynata’s position as the leader in Data Science and AI/ML.
“At its core, Dynata’s new Global Research and Data Sciences COE enhances our ability to do what we do best — quickly and seamlessly deliver to clients actionable, timely and relevant data to drive insights for smarter decision-making,” said Gary S. Laben, Dynata CEO. “We have an increasingly critical opportunity not only to anticipate the evolving needs of our clients but also to consistently exceed their expectations by delivering innovative solutions that empower them to make data-driven decisions at the speed of business.”
